DMF Lighting has upgraded its DRD modular downlighting system with new housings in round and square apertures and more than 50 aluminum trim choices, so a single housing can accommodate nearly all downlighting applications, including fixed, adjustable and wall wash.

The light-emitting diode (LED) housings are designed for installation in nearly any ceiling type, including wood, concrete, sloped, hat channel, T-bar and C channel for new construction, remodelling or retrofit projects. Options include a fire-rated housing, a low-profile housing and a double housing for specialty applications.

“Our modules feature a range of colour temperatures, field-interchangeable optics, 120 and 277 voltage regulation and integrated volt drivers that deliver smooth dimming down to 1%,” says Ken Czech, DMF Lighting’s vice-president (VP) of new product development. “Our design simplifies installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.”
